The world can be a pretty big place, but when it comes to the entirety of the universe, we realize just how small we are. This week’s artist has tapped into that wealth of energy and emotions, feeding off the energy of the universe to create his paintings. Kalomo Sala Jordan; artist, painter, and visionary, this week we explore the powers of the human psyche as Kalomo takes us on a personal journey to touch the umbrella of the universe.
“My style of painting and drawing, I feel comes from another place and time, I feel as if am connected to other worlds “dimensions” at all times, but it is my self that chooses to tap into that or those places out of time at will and connect to the quantum information that flows with in those “non-time and spaces”. Seeing Kalomo’s work it is easy to see that he is a man with a powerful interest and understanding of the world. He draws from images borrowed from natural history to create beautifully complex compositions, “in what I call “Spiritual Art Form from the Other Side”.
Egyptian symbols surrounding images of Set and Ra, painted in stunning techno-color ignite a flurry of energy within and spark the imagination and fill the mind with emotion which Kalomo feeds off of in order to create more and more.
“Things that inspire me day to day that help also produce the visions that I draw and paint can come from different things. Nature, technology, science, space, and non-space. Information becomes art by combining math,science,human emotion….I choose the emotion of “love”, just because I find that I get clean,fluid,and pure images, also a healthy feeling, calm and secure mind state.”
